Kill Van Kulls “Lost and Found”
This song has been on repeat as of late.
This is pretty amazing, right? Beat made ONLY with sounds from a bicycle.
Dreamy cover by James Blake of Feist’s “Limit to Your Love”.

It will be easy for some to compare James Vincent McMorrow to Bon Iver or Fleet Foxes, especially when listening to the beginning of the above track, “If I had a Boat”. Regardless, I am loving this song, especially on fall Sundays like today, when the sun is setting early and the weather is cold.
Also to note, this is not a cover of Lyle Lovett’s song, which bears the same name.

Mural painter Matt W. Moore created a series of live painting performances on walls in MARSEILLE, LYON, and PARIS. Directors Le Groupuscule captured the evolution of each mural, gathering over 700,000 pictures, that were edited as a stop-motion animation to an unreleased track by Monsieur Monsieur to create this music video.

Their latest tie-in with music is no different, and goes naturally with their Go Forth campaign. The Levi’s Pioneer Session posts two new songs per week, available as free downloads, through July 1st. Popular music groups like Passion Pit, James Mercer of The Shins (see above) and She and Him, are asked to cover songs that influenced their own musical journey. Each song is paired with exclusive photos, behind-the-scenes video and additional content that celebrates the enduring importance of the song and the influence it has across generations.
