Thanks to my friends Jason and Melissa for the tip on Man Repelling. Who knew? Defined by a woman’s choice to outfit herself in a sartorially offensive but equally fashion forward way, man repelling in turn leads her to repelling members of the opposite sex. Leandra Medine’s blog The Man Repeller, provides funny commentary on “fashionable” street and runway trends. Such garments include but are not limited to; harem pants, boyfriend jeans, overalls, shoulder pads, full length jumpsuits, jewelry that resembles violent weaponry and clogs.
